1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Builstry, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

2. Platform Services

Builstry provides a digital platform that connects clients and builders through structured project workspaces, milestone tracking, communication tools, and secure payment coordination.

Builstry is not a construction company and does not directly perform building services or construction work.

3. Off-Platform Communication & Agreements

Builstry strongly recommends that all project-related communication, approvals, scope changes, pricing discussions, milestone confirmations, and document sharing remain within the Builstry platform workspace.

Communication or agreements made outside the platform — including phone calls, private messaging apps, emails, or direct cash arrangements — may not be visible to Builstry and cannot be independently verified by us.

As a result, Builstry may be unable to assist, intervene, verify claims, or support dispute resolution relating to off-platform communication or agreements.

Users remain fully responsible for any arrangements, commitments, payments, or instructions made outside the platform.

4. Accounts & Verification

Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting login credentials.

Builders may be required to submit verification documents, including NHBRC registration and supporting business details.

5. Payments & Escrow

Milestone payments may be securely held until work stages are completed and approved.

Clients authorize the release of milestone funds after reviewing completed work.

Builstry may charge platform or processing fees where applicable.

6. Builder Responsibilities

• Provide accurate qualifications and credentials
• Deliver work according to agreed milestones
• Maintain professional communication
• Comply with local laws and regulations

7. User Conduct

Users may not misuse the platform, submit false information, attempt fraud, manipulate payments, or engage in abusive or unlawful behavior.

8. Disputes

Builstry may assist in facilitating communication between parties during disputes but does not guarantee resolution outcomes.

Final responsibility for project agreements remains between clients and builders.

9. Limitation of Liability

Builstry is not liable for project delays, workmanship issues, indirect damages, or losses resulting from agreements between users.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

Builstry reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risks to platform integrity.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
